We exist to preserve the freedom to act

Just cause Why we exists

To preserve the freedom to act – by ensuring that no one who protects, operates, or explores is held back by a system that cannot adapt

This is not a slogan. It is the reason STORM exists. Every product we build, every partnership we form, every decision we make is tested against this statement. If it does not serve the freedom to act, we do not do it.

The enemy

Rigity.

Not a competitor. Not a country. Not a technology. The enemy is rigidity – static systems, permanent modifications, platform-locked capability, depot-dependent integration. Every vehicle locked into a single role. Every reconfiguration that takes weeks instead of minutes. Every fleet that sits idle because capability is welded to the platform it was built for. Every critical system that becomes unavailable because the vehicle carrying it is damaged, obsolete, or simply somewhere else. Rigidity creates dependency, slows adaptation, increases cost, and limits operational freedom.

STORM exists to defeat that rigidity.

Vision Where we are going

To become the global standard for modular mission integration on light vehicles - making platform-locked capability obsolete

When a procurement officer, fleet manager, or emergency coordinator evaluates how to integrate modular capability on a light vehicle, RADS should be the reference point they measure everything else against.

Mission – What we do every day

We engineer modular integration systems for light vehicles – so that those who operate in demanding environments can reconfigure for any mission, on any platform, without delay.

Core values How we work

The STORM Way

Six disciplines that define how we engineer, hire, partner, and make decisions. Not aspirations – descriptions of the culture at its best.

Design once – deploy everywhere

Modularity Everywhere

Every product integrates with every other STORM product without custom engineering. Solutions that work in one context are tested for applicability in others. New components are specified with interoperability as a primary requirement – not an afterthought.

Systems fail – capability must not

Resilience by Design

Failure modes are designed for, not designed around. Products are built to outlast the platforms they serve. Testing includes worst-case field conditions, not just controlled environments. DockLock release time is a hard performance specification.

Every component strengthens the whole

Ecosystem Thinking

Partner integrations are evaluated for their value to the entire user base, not just one programme. Open architecture decisions are made even when they reduce short-term margin. Third parties are enabled to build on RADS – not required to build through STORM.

Less logistics — more capability

Efficiency as Force Multiplier

Weight, installation time, maintenance frequency, and module reusability are design constraints – not trade-offs. STORM measures success by what customers can do – not by what they buy.

Adaptation creates independence

Freedom ThroughCapability

The same platform enables logistics, medevac, ISR, and C-UAS without specialised vehicles. STORM advocates for customers’ operational autonomy – even when it reduces STORM’s short-term involvement.

Real work. Real tools. Real responsibility.

Built From Experience

Products are tested by the people who will use them – in the conditions they will face. Engineering decisions are grounded in field feedback. Craftsmanship is respected. A well-made physical product is a source of pride.

The Manifesto

The world does not wait

Crises do not give notice. Missions change without warning. Terrain does not care about the vehicle you brought.

We believe that those who protect, operate, and explore deserve systems that adapt as fast as the situations they face. Not systems that require a depot. Not systems that lock capability to a single platform. Not systems that force a choice between readiness and flexibility.

We build the platform that removes those constraints.

That is not a product promise. That is why STORM exists.

Mission What we do every day

This is who we are.

If you share these values – as a customer, a partner, or a future colleague – we want to hear from you.
